Interior design requires great stylistic sensibility and, at the same time, particular attention to practical and functional aspects of indoor life. Comfort and functionality are linked to the size of the furniture, to the room allowed for passage, to the detail and siting of furnishings, to the harmony that needs to be created between spaces that are filled and the use of empty ones.
Special attention needs to be devoted to potential dangers to health, to the removal of architectural barriers, to a good sound insulation, to the modernization required to respond to the demand for new uses.

The interior design process requires consideration of the following aspects:

  • representation of the current state of the indoor environment;

  • description of the objectives of the project;

  • description of the client’s wishes;

  • drawings of new living sectors;

  • 3D representation of the indoor space;

  • proposals for a selection of interior design materials;
